Love
Ibn. Al-Arabi explained that a man loves a woman becouse she is the mirror that reveals his innermost true being- the spiritual being that transcends his animal reality. The love of woman is the love of original nature of his soul and therefore reminder of God. Love stems from creation of man in the image of God. and sexual love is a symbol of the extinction of separate natures in the divine reality.
